TODDCO Dockseals

TODDCO dock seals are designed to be mounted around the perimeter of a loading dock door. When the pads are compressed by a truck backing up to the door, they form an effective seal to prevent the loss of heat or cool air and eliminate the entry of wind, rain, dust, and fumes into the loading dock area.

The seals have steel mounting pans that run around the perimeter of the door opening. These are galvanised for increased life span. The seals fit snugly into the mounting pans and are fastened using self drilling “tek” screws. Adequate steelwork must be supplied to support the seals around the perimeter of the doorway. This supporting steel work must be supplied by others. The mounting pans are 300mm wide. The seals are 250mm deep and ideally they should be positioned to allow approx. 20-30mm of crush when a trailer is at the dock. The crush of the seals is heavily reliant on the rubber blocks fitted either side of the dock leveller.

Three basic types of seals are available.

  1. Fixed head door seal - Model TODDCO-F
  2. Adjustable head door seal - Model TODDCO-A
  3. Truck shelter - Model TODDCO-T
  4. Inflatable air seal - Model Tretight

  • Colour is standard black with yellow stripes. Other colours may be available on request.
  • Fixed head dock seal is available with a follower curtain hanging from the top seal.
  • Pads are 300mm wise x 250mm deep. Other sizes available on request.
  • Air vents: All pads are equipped with air vents to minimise possible rupture of pad covers when compressed.
  • Pad cover: High abrasion resistant vinyl-coated nylon with a reinforcing second front layer providing added protection at the truck contact point. Full length guide stripes 4”wide.
  • TODDCO dock seals are factory assembled and mounted to standard 14-gauge galvanised steel backing pans.

Tretight Inflatable Dockseals:

Tretight Inflatable dock seals are far superior to any other seals on the market. They use a 3 phase blower to inflate the seals rather than a cheaper single phase under powered blower. This ensures that the seals push hard against the perimeter of the truck when inflated. Side seals and head seals meet perfectly to fully enclose and seal the truck. When deflated, a unique counterweight system pulls the seals away from the truck perimeter to eliminate damage. Stop/go lights and interlinking controls with the warehouse door is an optional extra.

Customers use inflatable air seals to give maximum energy savings. Why go to this expense if they don’t seal. The Tretight inflatable dock seal does perform.
